The Village of Port Jefferson celebrated its 18th annual Dickens Festival on the first week of December kicking off the holiday festivities.
Dressed to the nines, everyone from Tiny Tim to Augustus Snodgrass was in attendance as visitors traveled back in time.
“I like the way they set up the whole town where it brings memories of the old days and how they use to celebrated Christmas,” said Orlando Ospina from Ridge, N.Y.
The three-day festival offered many entertaining events such as story telling, a magic show and the annual production of “A Christmas Carol” by Theatre Three. Attendees enjoyed the crisp winter weekend as they visited the 19th century through the eyes of Dickens.
